Not only did we lose an hour last night, but I had insomnia. Just what you want when you're going to experience a short night anyway.
So as it turned out, my eyes were open at the exact moment when the universe ripped the hour away. You should have seen it! It was torn from the clock and thrown bloody out onto the snow. Sheesh. Brutal! And this morning, it's gone! There isn't even a mark in the snow to tell the tale. But I was there; I know.
